Arrival and dinner at Sjavargrillid
Welcome to Iceland! Your transfer from the airport to your hotel takes approximately 50 minutes. After check-in you can get to know Reykjavik on your own, or relax in the hotel until its time for dinner at Sjavargrillid.
The seafood grill Sjavargrillid is a charming, highly rated restaurant with exciting dishes inspired by the Icelandic scenery and local produce. After the meal your options are many. If you like dancing, you will not be disappointed by Reykjavik’s pulsating night life and wide variety of night clubs, bars and pubs. Dancing continues into the small hours of the morning!
The Blue Lagoon and Spa Treatment
Today’s highlight is a visit to the famous Blue Lagoon, approximately 45 minutes outside Reykjavík. The Blue Lagoon is an inviting warm oasis in the midst of the Icelandic volcanic landscape. The contrasts amaze as you sink into the naturally heated ,steaming water of the outdoor lagoon. The water comes straight from geothermic springs as deep as 2000 meters below the Earth’s surface, is rich in minerals and famous for its healing properties. It is naturally heated all year round to a comfortable temperature of 36-39° Celsius. An indoor lagoon and a geothermic sauna are also available. During your visit to the lagoon you can also enjoy a 30-minute massage.
Own activities in Reykjavík
Get to know Reykjavík at your own pace. Wonder along its streets and feel Reykjavik’s pulse. Take in interesting museums, designer shops and restaurants, and have a rest and digest all your experiences in one of Reykjavik’s many cafes. Iceland’s history is rich, and there is much to explore. We also offer a wide range of activities for those interested, for example whale watching, superjeep safaris, horseback riding or tours to The Golden Circle.
