Get close to the Icelandic scenery and wilderness both on foot and on horseback.
This daylong tour offers spectacular views featuring the variety of the magnificent Icelandic nature.

The program starts at Vellir farm with a riding tour through the fantastic Icelandic nature. We ride for 1.5 to 2 hours along grasslands and lava fields in charming rural surroundings, followed by a light lunch at Hotel Eldhestar. After lunch, we head to the green hills at the foot of the volcano Hengill, just above the village of Hveragerði, where we begin our hike into the magnificent geothermal valley Reykjadalur. On the way, we will see the beautiful waterfall Djúpagilsfoss and many hot springs. We will also have the opportunity to take a relaxing bath in a warm river – an unforgettable experience! On the way down, we can enjoy a spectacular panorama of volcanic mountains all the way to the coast.

The tour ends with coffee and cake at the Eldhestar riding center.

Do not forget to bring swimwear and a towel.
