We really feel inspired by your photos and videos and know others will benefit from seeing them on our websites, social media channels, and in print media. We might therefore approach you on Instagram to ask you to share any of your content such as photos/videos from Iceland with us.
As you consider allowing Vulkan Travel to use your photos or videos, we want to make sure you know exactly how we intend to use it. Your photos or videos will primarily be published on our websites and on our social media channels ex. Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, email and other marketing materials, with the intention to inspire others to discover Iceland.
In return, as Vulkan Travel, we always ensure to credit your content, recognizing your creative contributions and publicly appreciating your work. We may even feature it on our platforms and promote your social media profiles or website alongside your content, thereby increasing your online visibility. While we may edit the content to improve its overall quality, such as cropping, color correction, exposure adjustments, and sharpening, we will never make alterations like applying filters or effects that significantly alter the photo's mood or style or combining multiple images to create a composite. However, for storytelling purposes, there are instances where we may add a text overlay or simple graphic elements to a photo or video.
By responding #yesvulkantravelgroup on a Instagram post (photo or video) after Vulkan Travel request on Instagram, you agree to the following:
- You provide Vulkan Travel, a Swedish Iceland specialist with organisation number 556538-2685, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, in any manner to be determined in Vulkan Travel sole discretion and without any obligations to you, to use your content in their marketing and / or advertising, including inter alia the right to reproduce, distribute, and edit your photos.
- You give Vulkan Travel your consent to use photos where you can be identified for marketing and / or advertising purposes, according to the Swedish Act on Names and Pictures in Advertising (Sw: Lag om namn och bild i reklam (1978:800)).
- You are confirming that you alone created or own the content and no one else has any rights to it or could claim they own it or that it infringes on the rights of others.
- You have permission from any person(s) appearing in the photos.
- Moreover, you certify that you are an individual (i.e., not a corporation), you are at least 18 years old or have parental consent, and that Vulkan Travel's use of your content will not violate any rights of a third party or any law.
- Your content may be used either alone or in conjunction with other forms of visuals and materials written by us or others, or other photographs and videos.
- You understand that you won’t have the right to approve how we use your content.
- Hereby, you release Vulkan Travel from all obligations to pay you for the use of your pictures and freeing and agreeing to keep Vulkan Travel and all persons acting for Vulkan Travel from all claims (including claims from third party), liabilities, irrespective of nature, in connection with the use of the pictures as described above.
